güero Pop-up Store at Marienplatz, Munich
From September to October 2025, güero operated a temporary pop-up store at Loom Space, located at Marienplatz Munich — the city’s central square and one of Germany’s most frequented urban landmarks.
Positioned in a high-visibility, international setting, the pop-up translated güero’s curatorial approach into its first own physical retail format. The space presented a focused selection of Mexican handcrafted objects, emphasizing material integrity, artisanal processes, and small-scale production contexts. Visitors were able to engage directly with textures, techniques, and narratives that are usually mediated through digital platforms.
During the pop-up, the Aguacate (Avocado Bag) was introduced in an exclusive presale. The model is now officially available through the online shop.
The Marienplatz pop-up served as a strategic step in testing temporary retail environments within high-footfall cultural and commercial zones.
Further collaborations and physical formats are currently in development.
